i got a cobra 7928 ? (i think there the numbers) for £300, bought it for its cat 1 status and its completely fine, i think a good feature is the amount of beeps it makes once it has been set off, to tell you what has been tampered with.
i also like the fact that it doesnt make a noise when it...
mine has it aswell,
i looked at four cars,2 phase 1s, a black phase 2 with only 22k on it !
and then i bought mine, the only one with it.
worth it though for the 2 months i was looking !!

matty,
it is fairly easy do as i changed mine about a month ago,
the drain plug is pictured in the haynes manual, but it took me a while to find it, from what i remember it is white nylon and looks like a wing nut !nothing like as i was expecting,
i had to jack it up to get underneath...

One of my mates has a yellow w reg 106 gti, the build quality is good and the thing flies, it handles excellently,
there is nothing in it at all both from standing and mid range, although the clio comes alive at 4500 rpm,
if my clio didnt look the way it did even as standard i would...
i flushed mine a couple of weeks ago and posted exactly the same,
the bottom hose is a complete b*stard to get off i had to jack it up a bit and put a g clamp on the green clip and slide it up the hose and pulled it off, i then lowered it to get all of the old sh*t out, it was bloody filthy...
