Is there a part of the Aerial loom that can perish? 1*2

My cup has had shocking radio reception of late. The connector on the back of the head unit looks ok, as does the aerial and base. Is there a part of the loom that can perish?

    Who's Got Bilstein Coilover's????

I wouldn't want it lower than it is now tbh, questionable resting wishbone and drive shaft angles if it's 'slammed'. I'll get a side shot later.

    Who's Got Bilstein Coilover's????

I've had mine on since August. Initially they scrubbed like a b*****d, due to 25mms at each corner. Had it raised to a more sensible level and it's easy the best handling FWD car I've ever driven now. I don't have any other handling modifications, and the only limitation to grip now is tyres...

    Hancook ventus v12s?

Have them on the Cup currently and concur with @Addicted - very soft. Definitely the weakest point of my setup now. Edit, I'll post up my Manuf. date later, if anyone else wants to just to compare?

    Working with ferraris

Love it. I walk past one of your colleagues houses most days, he's got a Hillman Imp looking thing, lol. I've seen some cool motors outside his place, DC5's S15's etc etc, never an F40 though. Can I have an invite to your next open day?

    Uprated engine mounts

Vibratechnics engine mounts are without doubt the best thing I have bought for my car. Bilsteins included.

    COSSIE p**n !!

25K is a bit much. As said, put that into an Escort or 3dr Sierra and your money is pretty safe.

    Am I getting screwed?

Unlimited Infinity 2 is only £26 a month for me, with off peak calls that I never use. Even if I paid line rental monthly that'd only be another £12 or so a month. £52 is high.

Easiest way to rebush the front end?

For the price of the wishbones (which are supplied full of bushes/ball joints) just buy new ones. I've just had mine done and it's a complete transformation.

I hear what you're saying completely, just next to F1s, F40s, etc a humble Vauxhall could get lost in the crowd.

Cheers chaps, personally I have a lot of time for those that own these cars and let thousands of people they don't know get up close and personal to them. I was there with my old man in his Carlton, and it was quite nice to hear the comments it got, given the company it was in! The personal...

    172 Cup and a PH1

Are those ~ET37 2118's? If I took my 25mm's off I don't think mine (ET43) would poke that much! Seats look spot on. :)
