Yeah I can't get my head around all of that. If you google refining there are a million good videos showing how.
The fact you're detailing cars without de-tarring etc is a bit dodgy never mind wet sanding with no PDG.
Refining is the least of your worries mate if you're not doing the basics.
Well the CQ has a ceramic bond so Ipa might remove all beading and sheeting for example but it'll never remove the ceramic coating.
Anyway using something like that is retarded. Stick to reload or C2V3 which is piss easy to use also.
It does mate. I had to laugh. Chi dropped me off in the Trophy which looked utterly epic under the sun today and it's parked next to this 13 year old Puma with some stonechips and some rust. Honestly? I never even gave the T a second glance.
It'll be better than the Frp in 9/10 departments and...
Yeah if I was going that far just coilovers would be the answer (they can be fitted in a way).
Hmmm i can tell you one thing, and custom springs won't be stiffer than what's on the car.
Bare in mind you drove it before I fitted the new shocks, springs etc. The Trophy has set me up well to...
It's definitely not for the Clio. On a side note the Eibachs are superb with the sachs.
The T does sit too high as standard looks wise.
The springs will be for the next project. I know of someone who has a set fitted already.
Thanks very much Chip, much appreciated and food for thought.
So in layman's terms how do things like Eibach springs work so well with standard dampers?
The OH is trying to back up her phone to iTunes incase she gets a new S4. Long story.
Anyway it's only recognising the phone as a camera so not backing up or recognising the phone. Any easy fix?
Sorry yeah I understand, so you're saying to go lower you stiffen up the spring? Hmmm.
I was thinking at least 20mm.
Coilovers are an option tbh but a bit of hassle and expense tbf.
Yeah i've read up a lot about it in regards to damper wear. Was more compatibility.
I'm thinking just a lowered spring with the same spec rate wise would be better for my idea rather than go softer as it won't soften the ride as the damping clearly comes from the damper obv. A softer spring...
Yeah Imperial Blue is the colour.
It's kinda hard for me to answer the question in regards to changing as i'm probably changing to a car that's worse in 9/10 departments but that's the magic of Fords to me.
I'll update the thread with final thoughts next week if I get a chance.
I love the...
Lols. It will have a couple of small modifications. A company used the springs off my last one to develop lower springs for it. Easily made to be fair. Other that that, paint, detail and replace some parts. :)
The lowering is a must for me this time though, the front makes it look a tad silly...
