I remember a thread years ago mate and they just cut the inner lip, of course nothing will really be holding the liner up except 2-3 clips. They could be rolled with heat etc but would take some doing.

I don't have a problem with cost. I have a problem with half value depreciation. Used by all means take a loan out, buying new, go PCP unless you're planning on keeping it until you die. Just an opinion but pcp is there for reasons like that. A few will keep it until the end of the term but...

Ja, teh Fords have some issues there! Keeping a close eye on the mk6 fiesta to see if they really got over the rust issues. A work colleague got 2 full resprays out them for his mk5 Fiesta years. Was utterly shocking. Might have helped if he had actually cleaned the car but none the less!
