I changed from the Logitech G5 to a Razer Deathadder.
You can get wired or wireless. I've had both, the wire is very flexible so you don't notice it and it's a bit cheaper than the wireless one. I'm currently using the wireless one as I got a good offer on it.

When I had a Clio I did a lot of research into various oils to find something more suitable than 5w40. I ran Valvoline VR1 Racing 5w50 with an oil cooler.
The viscosity was identical to 5w40 spec at 40°C but thicker at 100°C so it didn't thin out as much.

Plated diffs are noisy.
If you wanted to make it quieter (best check it won't cause any issues with other components) then in BMW M cars there is a friction modifier in the OEM oil added which helps to quieten the the diff. You could potentially add some to your gearbox.
