I cut the bars out under the Ktec subframes. Saved an extra 2kg or so and no issues with rigidity once bolted to the seats.

I would have thought a td05 on a 1.7 would be laggy as hell. TD04HL would easily make more power than you could want.

I'd rather go for more power and less torque from a supercharger conversion instead. But you lose the aircon.

The callipers have been taken back a bit on the outer radius too to help with wheel clearance.

The alternator was a 110a one, not a cup 75a version. I ran an 80mm pulley on it.
