Don't buy the spin doctor. Personally i'd reccomend getting a das-6 pro and going from there, once you're ready to move up you can a rotary for £40 so no big deal. The das-6 will work wonders and be much easier to use than a rotary. Look at this one...

It's something to do with the sheeting of the water, I think you have to go faster for the G1 to work as efficient as the G3, G3 works better at low speeds compared with G1.
