    tyre tred

Isn't it only the top 75% of the tyre? So these bits right by the edges don't actually matter? Or am I special?

fk Konigsport setup advive x2 reasons

Height wise, mine is pretty much aesthetic, remember to set the drivers side around 5-7mm higher than the passenger, don't go setting it up all dead even. I'm not racing, so getting my car to look good, but still just about be able to make it over speed bumps etc was my aim. Fully stiff on...

fk Konigsport setup advive x2 reasons

I have FK Silverline X's... I run mine very low, about half stiffness on the front, about 2/3 on the rear... My car is an everyday car but this setup suits me fine, sometimes for passengers the back is a little bumpy but meh. With the following set up my car with: Understeer on the limit...

Yeah, it's gold. And it smells of warm horse sperm.

Buying an old car scares me, I'd just want to make it properly cool... How much have you spent messing with the Jason? More than the value of the car? I know of a very nice old volvo going, tempted? Hell yeah.

    Dijon Race Report

Nice write up that, shame about the second race, but at least one of you got a run out. (The old man got the girls, so that puts you even, right?)

Todays Efforts, (CS sheep and non-sheep content)

A smaller tyre and a shorter spring, they won't be SO bad. You certainly have interesting taste though.

    Yokohama Parada

I wasn't talking track really Jay, just as a road tyre, I really rate them. For what you want Kane, they sound bang on. A very grippy tyre, my favourite thing being the way they don't just "go" when they lose traction, really lets you play with the car.

    Yokohama Parada

They should be a lot less than that cost wise, but personally, I rate them. People on here will tell you horror stories of them in the wet, but I've never had an issue. They're a great tyre in the dry, especially for the money.

    Dan@SJM's 1720v

Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner Paradas are great tyres, gotta love CS generated opinion. Car looks brilliant, ph2 rear lights though, please? I have been liking some ph1 lights lately, but with the colour of yours it needs the ph2's IMO.

    Should i just get a 172?

There are several 182's for sale on here within that budget, some nice car's too. That RB one with the white turbines looks a steal to me.

    My 172 Ph1 - Next move?

Pictures etc of the car? It's quite obvious to me though, sell the car if you don't want it, have the belts done if you want to keep it.

    Welcome to the club mate.

Cage? Good man. I need to get down and yoink as much of that ph2 dash and general interior as I can ASAP :)

    I cleaned the Trophy.

I opened this thinking the title was a joke. Good work Dave, more aerodynamic now, innit.

how much can you dismantle a 172 seat??

The covers do come off, it's pretty much common sense. Remove the headrest and start at the bottom of the seat, where the back joins the bottom. Basically there's a couple of strapping points down at the join, then you can pull the cover up a little, this reveals some metal split rings, you...

I'm a CS Sheep and now have coloured wheels.

Are you sure the all black isn't where I sprayed it all over?? The repair - Holy f**k, was it worth it for what is a £40 wheel? Mental! (But I admire the commitment) It's really nice to see these used though, you could go with some stickers from Ady, like the red ones that were on there, but...

I'm a CS Sheep and now have coloured wheels.

History of the wheels: Got four wheels like this off of Daniel (on the car), and then I had an altercation with a kerb and someone who couldn't drive. I sourced the fifth wheel, it was silver, but I've got mad skills with the paint y0, so I created the other one. Painting the lip was a real...

Genuine question, would it handle like shite if you were to lower it a bit? It'd look sooooo good.

I'm a CS Sheep and now have coloured wheels.

My poor wheels, you wouldn't believe the trouble making one of those to match caused me, and you just went and painted it red!!! I joke, anyway, good job mate, they look brilliant. :)
