Presume all codes have been cleared after fitting new glow plugs, if all are dead when cranking then its likely a grounding issue from the ecu, got to be sure all plugs are good and no broken wires...wiggle wiggle wiggle, renaults are shite, sell it 😂
Light out and dry it with a hair dryer, if it doesn't work its fu#ed, launch it in a bush, fit new light and away you go, never leave the protection cover off in future though 😂

Nightmare, yeah you'd need to see what went/is going wrong for them to throw rods out, whether its oil pressure related, bearing failure etc, I try and keep away from the limiter for this reason on my 172, read a few similar stories 🫣😂
I've had the same issue with new depo headlights, there's no cracks in them I can see but they fog up whether I've used the lights or not, there getting ripped out so i can see what the issue is, very annoying
You thought about just selling it as is and buying a minter to enjoy, let someone else waste their time chasing rot! both will be the same cost the time your finished, thats what id be doing anyway, resell or move it on
Clio looks to be in a good shape to start with, is there any corrosion? Mine was good apart from a little under the rear axle mounts, nothing serious but guessing it would of got bad hadn't i seen to it then, was 10yrs ago now 😂 time to sell it i think ha
Powder coating just cant deal with stone chips, i used to use my cup all year, it was restored underneath and everything has held up well with it being waxoiled over the years, its all the powder coated items that now look in a sad state, rear axle was chipped to death within 18months after not...
