I had the Vibratechnics mounts on my Corrado VR6 and they were brilliant. Didnt cause any rattles either.

...with windscreen glue (haven't looked at how do-able this is on the upper gearbox mount) and pulling the engine as far forward as I can, or stumping for the ktec/vibratechnics ones. :S Dogbone did absolutely nothing for me, and I've replaced both the std mounts, still get the acceleration noise.

Vibratechnics mounts aren't horrendously harsh once they've been run for a little while. They give a much sharper drive and you have none of the knocking issues that standard mounts give even when new.

Vibratechnics are fine for road use once they settle in..

ive also got the vibratechnics mounts/powerflex dogbone and my cars never seen a track. absolutely fine for road use when theyve got a couple of k on them, a little vibration on idle but its worth it for how much it tightens up the front end.

both mine and my mates cars have the vibratechnics ones, i dont find them at all "too harsh for road" i spose its how comfortable you want your car to be! id personally go for the good ones if youre going to track your car 12 times a year, otherwise youll just put more stress on your gear...

How harsh are the vibratechnics ones? Just I don't wanna splash out for the OEM ones for the problem to come back again?lol

fitted the vibratechnics up gearbox mount everything finally went together nice but now i seem to have a very quiet wine when the clutch is engaged, doesnt seem to be causing a problem atm and I might of had it before but only noticing it now. Any help would be much appreciated cheers

Great result well done! Which part of the gearbox mount did you break the "stud" type part as I did the same going over the crest of "the Mountain" at Cadwell park.. Also which mount was it as I have some Vibratechnics ones to fit but not so sure now..

UPDATE Not a big one though just to say I have ordered my exhaust mounts from prima racing hopefully they will solve the squeaking from the exhaust I Think I am going to order the vibratechnics engine mounts aswell come payday

Aye done my dogbone last month, I'll bear that in mind about the gbox mount and keep an eye on it :) Yeah theres some more vibration on idle but once moving its fine. can't wait to get paid tomorrow, fill it up and go for a play

I had both vibratechnics + powerflex dogbone fitted on my old ph1, definately one of my favourite mods! Worth noting though, I fitted a new standard gearbox mount at the same time, 6 months later it was dead. Definetly get them all done IMO.

I'd go for the vibratechnics.

I have the vibratechnics mounts on my Cup and my engine hardly moves at all, real nice feel inside aswell, feels like a proper track/race car. It would stop alot of movement that you may be getting.

...you want on Sat when I collect the Cat and see if it's not to solid for what you want, they are worth every penny but you may get a little vibration/drumming from it as they are a Group N type rubber.If you run the vibratechnics engine mounts from K-Tec then you won't notice.
