182 has a wider track than 172, thats definate. Not convinced theres any difference in the track width between 182 and 182 cupped.

No difference in the technical spec in the original 182 brochure, other than the 3mm unladen height difference.

Not sure there is a difference in the track and I cant imagine 3mm would even be noticable. 3cm perhaps !

I believe (from searching on this forum) that the heatshield may be casusing a clunking sound Im getting at low speeds when I take my foot off the accelerator. How do you get to the heatshield ! Any advice appreciated.

Hello, Had my 182 about 1 week. When I depress the clutch there is what I can only descibe as a loud click/ or quiet clunk !- usually happens only at very low speed - anyone else had this ? Any help appreciated.
