Been wanting to change the gear stick knob for a long time as it's made of some s**t crumbly stuff and looks naff, I've read you can hack away at it to get it off, so does anyone know the diameter or the stick to put an aftermarket on?
This is what I did on mine, bought a pair of universal mounts off eBay, cut the rounded bit square and put some self rappers through it, eyed it up and drilled a hole through the bush where I wanted it to sit, cost less than £15!!
The mechanic at my work has got a diagnostic so I'll get him to have a look and see what comes up! Popped out before and it was worse than it's ever been, didn't think I was going to get home at one point [emoji19] but was fine whilst warm?!
