Misfiring/bogging down help

Evening everyone, so as the title says...car had been playing up recently missing/bogging down, started to idle lumpy when cold a while ago but when up to temp it would be fine. But more recently was a constant thing, so I changed to spark plugs, HT leads and coil pack on Friday, job was grand and thought I'd fixed it until just now on my way home, anything over half throttle and it has a tantrum!! Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!!

You replaced al that before checking out the coolant temp sensor?

Well I'm pretty sure they were all original parts anyway so it's not going to harm it

If they were cheapo bits they could cause you more grief. It has for me in the past.

NGK platinum plugs, coil pack and leads from motaquip ? Can't remember brand

do you get an eml light flash or anything? Could be an injector failing if its intermittent or a lambda sensor. Have you an obd scanner it may give a fault code as a starting point?

I've had recently a flashing EML that doesn't throw a fault code. Similar symptoms as your lumpy idle. Leave it running from cold it idles a bit dodgey then after 5mins the EML starts to flash. Turn car off and on it doesn't come back on but if driven before this happens it is fine. I am thinking it is an injector in the verge of failing so just going to swap them for new.

I had same problem replaced spark plugs coil pack leads and injectors and turned out to be lambda

The mechanic at my work has got a diagnostic so I'll get him to have a look and see what comes up! Popped out before and it was worse than it's ever been, didn't think I was going to get home at one point [emoji19] but was fine whilst warm?!

Right, I was going to ask this but assumed it was happening all of the time.

When does the misfiring happen and how long does it last. If it only misfires at 2.5k for a couple of minutes when cold this is meant to be normal, but a remap can take care of it. How long does it take for your engine to warm up?
