Enjoyed last year's fcs and trax. Will be attending again this year.
Didn't really speak to anyone last year so will have to be a little less anti social this year ?
I have a 172 which i use on a loxal track and am now happy with how it's performing and want to book onto some track days. My only worry is that it may be too loud.
Currently running decat with powerflow system. Small centre boc and back box.
Does anyone know the best way to test or where to...
Not been on the forum in a while. Just curious if there are any meets or events with csoc in the north west being planned through out this year?
I live near Preston and only ever come across the odd other clio every now and then unless at 3 sisters wigan.
I'm often out and about for drives...
After looking into it properly and your advice on here an sd cage seems to be the best choice. Not only for myself but if anything was to happen with a passenger in due to a cage failure the £300 difference seems like nothing.
Cheers for the advice.
Safety devices seem to always come up top of the list. And by the looks of things I can convert from a rear cage to a full cage later on if I wish?. Also I'm guessing mark fish is the guy to get in contact with then?
Just been to TRAX and had an ace day, really well enjoyed. Spoke to a few people around the other clio orientated stands and I see quite a few running the eBay cages.
I almost clicked buy now but couldn't quite do it. Now I've also seen the safety devices rear cage with harness bars I quite like...
Didn't end up booking track time don't think the car is quite up to it needs a few bits which I'm not gonna get chance to sort out. I'll just have to watch everyone else
Just been to French car show and loved it. Regretting not going on track tho. Just buying my ticket for trax. I take it I'll need a club stand pass and which track session is best to book or just any?? (Going novice that is due limited track experience)
Been a while but just a quick update for anyone interested, put new clip in but some must have been left behind so ended up having to put another box in it as only had 1 to 4. yesterday it happened again, I would say it was due to me being rough with the car along with a knackered dogbone mount...
Hiya just looking for a bit of help / advice . I have the 1.2 16v d4f engine and have a bad oil leak on the rear left of the engine not 100% sure exactly where tho. When I changed the rocker cover to try solve the issue I came across a snapped bolt which is on the left directly under where the...
I got bored so had a play with the lighting a little. Maybe a little ott but I think it looks quite tidy still. Also eventually got round to the grille
I've never really resolved the issue completely just raised it back up about 5-10 mm and this helped a little, after looking in to it, was gonna take a lot of messing about to get it corrected. I've just grown used to how it drives now.
Thanks for the responses guys think that's made my mind up will get looking for one over this summer, and yeah the belts was one that I expected but might be able to pick one up with a recent change if I'm lucky.
Will be a lot better as I do a fair few motorway miles now so the 1.2 is getting a...
Hi there guys, just looking for some reviews of the 1.6 16v mk2 clios.
Basically I have the 1.2 version which being a typical lad have spent a bit of money and time on parts such as wheels trims grill and various interior bits and am now pleased with how the car looks. Recently tho I have been...
I had this when I first fitted my amp and sub, left the music on for only 15-20 mins or so then car wouldn't start, since then I just don't leave the music on without the car started, I know of some people who run another battery just for the sound system but not sure on the way it was wired up...
Hi just a quick one, does anyone have any recommendations on which seats I should put in my 1.2 mk2. The standard ones I have just don't seem to have as much support as I'd like and find myself rolling around when cornering.
As I use it every day I would assume bucket seats may be a bit...
A few smart looking 182's and a 172 at Morrison's car park meet in bolton tonight, didn't get reg numbers tho thought some of yours might be on here tho :)
Not quite had them on long enough to notice that yet but I can see it happening, might have to look for some uprated joints maybe if someone does them??
Thought they were got them on mine and yeah they are very harsh but I don't mind for now , since lowering do you get a lot of bump steer and find your having to put more input into the steering wheel than before??
Thanks and yeah loads of extras, has front usb which I use, aux input, bluetooth, hands free with speaker built into the head unit it's self, I also have an app so you can play songs change volume and basically do everything from your phone, I don't really use it but I suppose it could be useful...
I think its quite good, I had a jvc one but swapped it for the sony as I needed more than one pre out to run two amps, I don't know too much about the technical side, but the quality seems to be excellent, and there are also more settings for fine tuning your sounds on the sony, so far I have no...
Took a lot of faffing but finally got the boot finished, lost a little space in the boot but can fit a lot more than when the sub was just sat on top, just working on a removable cover for the speaker for when the body is needed.
Hi all
just a quick question that I hope someone might know the answer to.
After lowering my 1.2 clio I now have bad bump steer, the only kits to correct this I can find will only fit the 182/172 track rods.
Does any one know if the 182 track rods will fit onto the 1.2 clio as a straight swap...
