Cheers feller.
So, if my eyes don’t deceive me, we’re looking at clearance of 1mm on the barrel and 2mm on the spoke?
Just so I’m clear, is that is using the 197/200 caliper and Pure Motorsport bracketry?
Many thanks,
David

Thanks for your reply!
Does that provide 3mm clearance between caliper and spokes? Does the caliper have reasonable clearance from the inner barrel?
I’d be grateful for a photo (or two).
Seriously considering an order (in race gold) for a Monaco blue phase 2 track car. Currently running...
Hi there,
Do these wheels no clear the caliper without a spacer?
I understand that an ET35 (net of spacer, if any) is the sweet spot from handling perspective.
Many thanks,
David

Hello All,
Is anyone aware if 16” Advan RG with ET44 would clear the PMS Brembo set-up with an 8mm - 10mm spacer?
Finding suitable lightweight wheels a challenge in NZ.
Cheers,
David

Hey Bloke,
Appreciate the input.
Had the throttle body ported to 64mm recently with a new butterfly manufactures to suit. Throttle cable replaced too.
In short, wasted loot chasing the sticky throttle pedal.
Word on the street is the return spring can degrade. Mechanics here (in NZ) believe...
Hello All,
Does anyone know where I could source a new throttle return spring? Could I use a universal part?
Sticking throttle driving me batty.
Many thanks,
David
Hey Tommy,
The car handles brilliantly on the track - fairly firm en route ... acceptable though. Still finding its measure (or vice versa). Haven’t done oodles of track work. The PM Bilstein coilovers are sprung 500lb at front and 375lb ... I think. Understand it is a safe set-up ... rear not...
Hey All,
The wee Clio has been transformed after many moons off the road. Many thanks to Nick Benton, Pure Motorsport for such quality products and his tireless counsel. Clio expertise is scant in NZ - the project would have been a random walk without him.
Here is the tale of the tape ...
Good to see the wee car getting a workout ... absolutely champing at the bit to get mine back ... the build is almost 10 months now! How much weight have you taken out of it? With (at best 210bhp), shedding the shell has been a focus. That said, I could lose 15kgs!
Many thanks Mash.
The guy doing the work has invested oodles of hours trying to solve this gordian knott.
Needless to say, I'm less than impressed.
Cheers,
David
Mash, you're a champ!
This from the guy (endeavouring to) install the pedal box ...
"On arrival, inspection showed it to be bent, it was missing hardware and quite frankly never looked like going to fit this car.
There were no instructions to fit a Clio, I believe there are for other models...
Yea
Hey Mash,
Gee wizz, that was quick.
Yes, I believe so. We have having serious issues. In discussion with OBP but no resolution yet. I can PM you observations from my guy.
Did the floor pans change at some point? I have a Mk 2 (Sept 2001).
Welcome any advice.
Cheers,
David
Hi All,
Has anyone installed the Clio OBP Track Pro pedal box?
The product is marketed as 'plug in play' but has been anything but for the gent preparing my car (and he has 35+ years of race car prep).
Any assistance would be gratefully received.
Cheers,
David
