Replacement throttle return spring - Phase I 172

Hello All,

Does anyone know where I could source a new throttle return spring? Could I use a universal part?

Sticking throttle driving me batty.

Sticks because the body/butterfly are worn.

Appreciate the input.

Had the throttle body ported to 64mm recently with a new butterfly manufactures to suit. Throttle cable replaced too.

In short, wasted loot chasing the sticky throttle pedal.

Word on the street is the return spring can degrade. Mechanics here (in NZ) believe all roads lead to the spring. Fingers crossed ...
