    Sparco R100 recliners

Just wondering whether anyone has any experience with the Sparco R100 reclining bucket seat, either in a Mk2 Clio or something else? They look to offer a good compromise between support, comfort, price and practicality. Sparco also do direct fitment frames/sliders for the Mk2 Clio. Comparisons...

Bedding/running in cams and flowed head

I'll very shortly be fitting a flowed/ported head, matched inlets and Catcams 438s to my 182. I've not found any definitive guides to bedding in the cams themselves (20mins at 2-3k rpm has been suggested, to avoid the higher wear potential at idle) and also to 'running in' the newly machined...

    Throttle Body Seal for 182

Really struggling to track down the part number for the seal that sits in the deep groove on the throttle body to inlet mounting face. Partsouq doesn't seem to be throwing up any results. Will be re-fitting the throttle body and matched inlets soon, so hoping to get a fresh seal in there. Can...

    OZ Centre Caps - 56mm

I recently purchased a used set of OZ Superturismo wheels but they came without centre caps. The hole in the wheel centre appears to be 56mm diameter but I'm struggling to find suitable replacements (most are 60mm). Has anyone found a source for these? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Suspension rumbles from new setup

Recently fitted freshly refurbished (BG Motorsport) original front Sachs dampers onto my Trophy, along with new PMS solid top mounts and new Cooksport springs. The car had already been fitted with new wishbones, lower ball joints, inner/outer tie rods and a full compliment of poly bushes. Just...

Trophy headlights - LHD or RHD?!

Can anyone confirm whether the following Trophy headlights are for RHD or LHD cars. These were previously listed on the Renault Parts Direct website but are no longer there unfortunately. I've heard that they may be for LHD cars? Driver (off) side: 7701051770 Passenger (near) side: 7701051769...

    Front ABS Sensor for Trophy

Need a front one for my Trophy. I know there are a few issues with the rear sensors for the Trophy but have people been using the front Bosch sensors from ECP successfully with 182s (part number 417745310)?

    Rear Brake Line Clips

Does anybody have a part number or know of a place to buy the plastic brake line clips which mount directly onto the rear beam of a 182? The old items I've transferred onto my refurbished rear beam are past their best and not gripping the beam or brake lines very well. Thanks!

Powder coating (for ARB) in Bristol area

I'd like to get my Whiteline rear ARB sand-blasted and powder coated, just to freshen it up and protect it going forward. Can anyone recommend a good powder coating specialist in the Bristol area? Thanks!

Horn only works when ignition off

As above, slightly strange issue where the horn only works when the ignition is off. Passed an MoT a few month back, so not sure what's happened since then. Occasionally get one 'beep' out of the horn whilst ignition on, then nothing more. Any suggestions for sorting this?

    PU adhesive for exhaust trims

Recently bought a pair of carbon exhaust trims from Pure Motorsport for my 182. The website suggests using a Sikaflex or Tiger Seal PU adhesive to affix these in place, but there appear to be quite a few products available from each brand. I'm a bit unsure as to which product to purchase. Does...

    Start-up gremlins

My 182 Trophy has had an increasing number of start-up gremlins since I bought it in July. Always starts but the degree of hesitation and urgency is somewhat variable! Sometimes, it's like it can only just muster up enough energy to bumble into life and settle to idle. Problem seems to get worse...

    TDC sensor loom connection

i have a new TDC sensor and loom to fit, supplied by Renault with the updated blue connectors. The loom is supplied as a connector with two wire tails, which clearly need stripping back and joining up with the car-side loom somehow. Two, what can only be described as, small clear plastic...

182 fuel non-return valve and FPR

Please can someone provide a description of where the fuel non-return valve and fuel pressure regulator are situated on a 182 F4R? Are they both built into the fuel pump assembly under the rear seat? If anyone has a diagram of the fuelling system, even better!!

    Intermittent 182 start-up issue

Ever since I bought my 182 Trophy in July, it's started up in one of two ways: 1) Rifle quick on the key, no hesitation or stuttering, settling to idle immediately 2) Hesitant, turning over fine and sparking then eventually creeping into life and settling to idle As the car has a new battery...

    AC condenser suggestions

The AC condenser on my 182 Trophy is past its best and could do with replacing. I'm sure plenty of people will have fitted replacements by now. Has anyone had any particularly good experiences with aftermarket condenser brands? I've used EIS from eurocarparts in the past for other cars and been...

Nearside front fog light not working

Slightly strange one, as it's just the near side front fog light that isn't illuminating. I've tried a new bulb but no change. The feed for both front fogs is common until you get to the splitter behind the near side fog light...how strange that the offside still illuminates fine! Could this...

ABS + ESP Lights (no SERV) - 182 Trophy

i have searched high and low on this forum and others for an example of the same symptoms, but haven't quite found it yet.... The ABS and ESP lights are both illuminated in my 182 Trophy, from the moment of start-up to the moment of switch off. Just very occasionally, switching the ignition off...
