2004 54 plate RB 182 (genuine) Cup - 74k miles.
FSH - receipt for timing belt in 2014 - On removing the engine mount cover, belt doesn't look great so probably best saying it needs changing.
Completely standard apart from Apex springs, Scorpion exhaust and I just fitted Powerflex engine mount...

Yesterday, on my way to Tesco, saw this. Not sure he saw me, but I noticed a big stick on the right of the tailgate. Wasn't close enough to read it, looked like a club sticker of some sort.
Really don't see many 172/182s around Cardiff. No idea why.
Just by KFC, going in the opposite direction at around 2:30 this afternoon.
I waved like a "182 fwiend" in my RB Cup, but I guess you didn't see me. :)
Looks like some cheap Ebay item. Filters should be able to hook me up with a standard shifter. The clutch is a little heavy, potentially a cable issue, but will drop the 'box with more time and money when available.
@ADS1982 You'll be pleased to know, you don't have to meet me tomorrow now. I've managed to hook up with Mr Filters this evening, who kindly pointed out many many things that need some work. :)

So, is that a new clutch then? It's really making me appear a right spaz behind the wheel. I'm hoping ADS can confirm this tomorrow. It's just a matter of comparing what we've both got, I guess.

Other than the awful ride from the Apex springs fitted on the car, the gear change doesn't seem right to me. The clutch is heavy, the change is clunky and I think it has a short shifter, which feels awful too. It seems to grind in any...
Apologies for resurrecting this, but it's this thread that has confirmed to me that I appear to be missing a clamp on my Scorpion exhaust altogether!
As you can see, it seems to be stuck together with just paste.
I'm guessing something like the following is missing...
That is on my radar. I think the cracked front bumper is putting me off. I can't stand having to talk to bodyshop guys around here. :) After RB, I think silver is next on my want list.
Thanks for the quick reply. The dealer thinks it's more desirable than the black FF 182 he has there because it's a Cup, but from what I understand the 172 Cup is the one the racers go for.
I scanned the paperwork for dephaser receipts, so not sure about belts. Will check it out when I visit...
