to remove the whole thing, I've been told that you have to remove the entire bumper!! But if you are just having problems with the little ball thingy in the end, pop it out with a blunt knife.....it worked for me....
I had a 1.8 MX5 before my 172 and I loved every minute of it, christ I had it for 4 years, real fun car, but that is all it is fun. My 172 is an extreme car, how we're talking...:-)
I was told that to replace the whole thing you need to take the whole bumper off, but if its just the little ball, then you can pop it in and glue it.....
to JBarber....no, not Detling Hill, as you say that is a dangerous road , always very slippy cos of all the trees. We were both (me and IS200) very sensible on there, it was mainly on the M20 near Maidstone where you get 4 lanes...
cheers people, feeling a bit better now......
what 'av i leart......to behave on the public roads and keep the fast speeds for the track.......very sorry.......
Your opinions, please, following a Lexus IS 200 yesterday going too fast, (I know it's wrong) but safely i.e. indicating etc, eventually he pulled in and I went past. I then got behind a BMW who refused to pull over, at which point the Lexus came up beside me and flashed his warrant card at me...
Some kind person had nicked (i think) the little ball bit off the end of my powerwasher for my headlight. Im off later to pick up a new one from renault (had to buy the whole thing I was told), but have no idea how to fit one, is it easy? My skills are limited:/
Saw a blue V6 yesterday at my uncles funeral. You had a cliosport sticker in the back window. '53 reg I think. Asked around but no one knew who you were.
You people are lucky. I use Q8 super unleaded at 97p a litre!!! Is it worth it or can I use normal unleaded in a 172 (sorry for the stupid question, but Im newe to the car and the site)
