If i was to just to get oil change would the service light go off?

My Clio 182 is now reached 27k and the dash has lit up saying its due a service. Ive checked with Renault and they want £190 for the service so i contacted Kwit Fit and they want £170. Is this about the kind of price i will be paying or can someone recomend me a place. I live in Runcorn...

This happened to me just the other day tryed everything didnt work. I just added petrol (which it didnt need as had plenty) and then the light came off. As simpleas it sounds but just try it

Its always be fine and accurate on mine, The thing was that i had quater of a tank in so the light should never of came on. Luckly though adding some more petrol to the tank turned the light off, it was running on empty before people come in with smart comments lol problem solved cheers for...

Ive tried that but had no luck, going to have a trip to petrol station shortly see if that does the trick If not be off to renault to look at unless someone has any other suggestions? If it goes into renault will they give me a another car as replacement while they have it?

Ive noticed the ktec ecu chip and upgrade kit i was wondering is it worth getthing one of these if my compleltly standard? Its a clio 182? If anyone has had this done can you tell me what the difference is like?
