I need some advice on fitting a universal swirl pot in clio 182. What size are the fuel lines/connectors that go into the fuel pump side and what type are they. Im sure i read once that they are 8mm and are m18 type connectors? Or am i just makin a load of bull up?? And also would i need to run...
At three sisters testing 182 after fitting phase 1 fuel system and high pressure pump.
Im guessin shes suffering from fuel surge every lap after the hairpin.. there was well over half tank fuel in.
Just wondering if its definately fuel surge and what would be cheapest solution. Swirl pot? Tank...
Yeh took mine off this morning, found that the clip off the adapter was broken and wires were abit loose. So i cleaned the sensor and took an adapter bit off a megane and put that on but couldnt get car started at all now. Do you know if it makes a difference which way the wires are connected at...
Interesting read that.. although iv had cars off the road for longer before and they fire up and run no problem. you think it running on v power makes any difference?
Hi
Ive had the car parked up not used for quite some time until recently i got my gearbox taken out had a lsd fitted and then put back in. The car always slightly struggled to start before but now more so. When you do eventually get it goin it only revs upto about 6k and starts letting off pops...
Yeh that was the one.. i only got to do a few laps then came off.. car was only reving to 6k then pops and bangs.. what was the weather like the rest of day?
Lol i understand scepticism, its not common. Engines roughly on 150k. Its gt a phase1 airbox with cold air feed goin to washer bottle area, matched inlets and a scorpion rs192 exhaust with straight through centre section. No cams or any other engine work.
Its true your figures will vary from engine to engine but not impossible to get 190 from breathing mods. An just so you know my figures arent from "some rollers" was mapped and dyno'd at rs tuning.
Yeh i can see now you dont get those figures often just of breathing mods.. makes me a little happy:smile:
Maybe its got something to do with straight through centre section? Or my air feed location? I put the pipes connecting to airbox to the washer fluid area, figured it wud b cleaner air...
Lol dint expect it myself tbh, nice suprise tho
Its already been stripped.. dnt think im able to take much more out.. i think im gna have to dish out silly money for turbo
