If you are going to put the brakes on why dont you just gently touch the brake peddle so the lights flash but the car does not slow down (the old left foot braking technique) I find it works a treat....

How the hell are you driving - flat out all the time, do you use 4th and 5th gear? If Im not driving hard I can get about 360 miles to a tank or 90 miles to £10 = £40 to fill the tank. My worst was 280 miles to a tank on B roads enjoying myself....

The headlamp washers work when you first squirt them but the washer fluid will slowly trickle out of the reservior about 5 hours to empty. Will they check for leaks or just squirt them and say pass?

Depends upon age and miles If its older than 3 years dont bother with a service at Renault - too expensive. My local mechanic will be carrying out my 24,000 mile/3 year old service and MOT.

How do you tell if its full from the oil display? I know not to rely on this but its nice to know. On mine I have about 6 full cubes - is this correct?
