What do I expect? Someone who knows what a looked after 16 year old RS Clio looks like from Cliosport.net is what I expect. I thought it best to give you guys a chance first but apparently I'm "selling sand to the Arabs" and have no idea what the f**k Vovid 19 is. f**k it - I'm keeping it.
Hi,
I posted a for sale ad on here for my BG 182 a couple of weeks ago (not advertised elsewhere yet) but I've had no interest  Is it a bad time to sell? Have I priced it wrong? Would appreciate any thoughts.
Cheers,
Dave.
Hi All,
I'm going to be selling by BG 182 very soon but not sure where to price it so could do with some help.
It's an 04 with 95K miles. I've owned the car for around 4 years and in my ownership it's had quite a bit of work done by Mick at Diamond Motors and bits and pieces fitted by my...
As per title, could do with some help identifying a couple of renault part codes.
Im in the middle of changing the radiator on my 182 but 3 of the 4 screws which fasten the fan onto the radiator or knackered. The one good screw says M88 on the hex head and is an 8mm spanner - need a part code...
Just at the garage having the MOT done on my 182. MOT tester has said it will fail because ‘original steering wheel airbag is missing and must be fitted’. There is no airbag light on the dash - it was switched off with a clip at Diamond Motors a couple of weeks ago, and it passed last year at...
Pretty much destroyed it with a couple of chisels then found out my drill is knackered. Couldn’t be arsed to take the hub off so garage is sorting it tomorrow before the MOT.
Thanks,
Dave.
I need to remove a front ABS sensor from my 182 and would really rather not remove the hub if I don’t have to. Tork T30 screw is out and I’ve had a quick go at it with a hammer and chisel but its not budged. Is it possible to do without removing the hub? I have a new sensor so don’t mind if...
OK, any recommendations for places to get them wrapped or hydro dipped please? CarbonFiberMagic are quite close to me but I've no idea how good they are.
Fitted PMS decat exhaust and ran car for a couple of minutes - sounds awesome. Just need a new lambda sensor from Euro Car Parts tomorrow cos mine appears to be welded into the cat
Hi,
I’ve lost the instructions which came with my Ktec solid top mounts (newer style black ones) and wanted to double check the torque settings on the strut top nuts - anyone have the figure to hand please?
Thanks,
Dave.
Car looks awesome - great work. particularly love the spoiler and those seats - now considering the same seats for my 182. Ive also got an E92 M3 Comp Pack as my daily and agree with you its a superb car but I’m seriuosly thinking about selling it and replacing with a Clio 200 as my daily -...
I’m lowered on Eibach Sportlines at the moment but might be looking at coil overs in the near future anyway. If 15’s make for a more fun driving experience sounds like they are for me
I’m all about direct and sharp handling so I wouldn’t want to upset that. I’ve got a non FF 182 with standard front struts, cup rear shocks and lowered on Eibach Sportline springs, oh and camber bolts on the front set to 1 degree negative. I might try some hub centric spacers to see what the...
Hi,
I’m wondering what the benefits are of fitting wheel spacers, and what would be the recommended spacer widths for a 182 on Eibach Sportlines with standard 16” wheels (I think ET43 offset?)
Thanks,
Dave.
I’m on standard 182 16” wheels at the moment and just wondering why people drop down to 15’s? I guess tyres are slightly cheaper and wheels are potentially a bit lighter, but I’m more interested in how a drop down to 15’s changes how the car ‘feels’?
Cheers,
Dave
Thought I would start a thread for my BG182. I've done quite a few bits of work on it already, but this Saturday I'll be attempting to fit a Renaultsport Sabelt blue/black suede steering wheel, OMP boss and 172 stalk for the horn so my plan is to get photos of the process and do a bit of a...
