Just a follow up to my last post, I ordered the undertray, I haven’t fitted it yet though. I also ordered a 70mm blanking grommet from Amazon, as you can see from the pic it’s a great fit. Beats trying to track down a genuine drain hole cover.
Can any one help me identify what this rattle is on my 182, it only happens when I engage the clutch and stops when I release it or bring the clutch to biting point when in gear. I’m thinking release bearing?
Many thanks.
That's what I was thinking might as well replace the whole clutch when the box is off.
I've owned the car for the past two months, so it hasn't been me abusing it lol
So my options are to just put up with the noise or else get the while clutch replaced? The car has recently just hit 80k and there is no evidence of a clutch replacement in those 80k miles.
Manage to pinpoint the rattle coming from clutch this evening, it's definitely the clutch.
Took the car out for about a 20 minute drive, the rattle has now disappeared but my guess is it will return when it cools down. Does this sound like a typical clutch problem?

Cheers, as I said earlier the car is driving as it should at the moment it's just that annoying rattling sound so I'm no big rush, I'll wait for discount.
I have two options with ECP at the moment, Transmech £131 or Sachs £152, a 30% off discount code can be added when checking out. Are either of these brands worth checking out?

The car has developed a rattle on idle, it happens when the car has reached temperature. At first I thought it was the exhaust heat shield. I discovered yesterday that if I engage the clutch the rattle disappears. Could it be the clutch release bearing? Or a worn mount?

Ran out of patience waiting for the injectors to be delivered and had this afternoon off work, so I picked up a single injector from EuroCarParts and fitted it. Lumpy idle is now gone, power delivery and pick up have all improved!! Totally different car now.
I've still got a set of 4 injectors...
Brilliant!! Sounds like I'm on the right track, just need to wait now for the new injectors to arrive.
Yeah I'm currently using Carista diagnostic app on my iPhone, it does the job but as you say it wouldn't be as accurate as other readers.
Injectors still haven't arrived, so decided to test the injectors that are currently on the car. The injector on the end of the fuel rail (closest to air intake) seems to spraying out less fuel than the other injectors. Could this be the cause of the misfire fault code and flashing EML light...
I've been trying the cure a reoccurring flashing EML in my 2004 Clio 182.
I bought the car about a month and a half ago and with the 3 month warranty I got with the car I have had the Lambda Sensor Replaced, MAP sensor and spark plugs all replaced to try and cure the flashing light. After...
