Thanks for all the responses. I'll look into a BSI approved bodyshop and the one mentioned by @frayz in Great Totham.
Just want to get a few quotes so that I can get an idea but only want quotes from places I'm willing to go to.
Hello All,
I wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations on where to get Liquid yellow body work resprayed. I've heard people mention repair and restore in Goole but I'm based in Essex so I'd ideally like somewhere a little closer to home.
Please let me know if you've had any experience...
Got a lovely 123d coming up for sale...just to chip in.
They're good cars and the performance you get for such a good return on economy is hard to turn down if you're racking up the miles.
I'd suggest a list of pros and cons including what you can and can't live without. I personally needed some of the creature comforts that weren't available in the 182 and figured if I'd decided not to go for the 182 then the obvious choice was the 200 as it's got lots of minor improvements to...
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and putting up with my old man ;)
Looking forward to some more meet ups and definitely looking forward to some better weather...
I'd say it's really dependant on what sort of driving you're going to be doing as your daily commute or journey, I've just come from a BMW 123d which was great for cruising on a motorway or dual carriageway but as most of my commute is on B roads I was more than happy to sacrifice those moments...
I've just got my Clio 200 after much deliberating over the R26 but I think it was the fact that I could properly enjoy driving the 200 and being able to use a lot of it's power on actual roads. I had read other comments and saw people mention the Megane was almost too capable and you'd only get...
Which is more likely to get water damaged would you guess?
I've seen a sensor for the door and a keyless entry door handle on eBay for around 30 each but don't want to buy both if I don't have to. But no idea how to know which of the sensors is faulty.
Hello,
I've recently got my Clio 200 and noticed that the keyless entry on the drivers side isn't working properly (the passenger side works perfectly).
I can open the door by pulling the door handle and moving it about a little (suggests dodgy connection somewhere as it is quite a loose fit)...
I unfortunately haven't got any photos yet but will upload some later. I've had a closer look since the original post and it looks like the mounts for the front bumper are either corroded, broken or haven't been tightened properly. I think I may have to take off the front bumper and assess the...
I'm just outside of Chelmsford but working around Basildon so might see it around. You're right though, I've barely even seen any Clio RS 200's around and I've been keeping a keen eye out as well.
I'll have to check my plans but thank you for the invitation, it would be good to meet some of you...
Thanks, was amazed to get one in liquid yellow for under £6k. They seem to be sold at a premium from what I've seen so far.
Good to see some some member nearby in Essex as well!
Yeah, I've still barely had a chance to drive it and waiting for some dry days as well.
I'm sure a move from the 182 to the 200 would be a nice change but for me personally coming from the diesel engine to a super rev happy petrol feels amazing.
It's a 2010 and drives really well but I would...
Hello all,
I have just purchased ClioSport membership and this beauty for what I considered a bargain and had originally intended to go for a Megane R26 but the price and colour of this Clio convinced me.
I'm coming from a BMW 123d which will be up for sale within the next week or so but even on...
