Initially i did look into a 172/182 conversion and a 2.0 hybrid had crossed my mind too. Yeah, ideally they'd both make awesome projects but i want to build something different, something that hasnt been done before really; it'll make a much more fun project. I can appreciate it might effect the...

Thing is, most of the time you will get what you pay when it comes to paint work. I'd expect to pay around £600 - £700 for a good job. Where abouts are you based??
Do anyone manufacture smoked headlights for the Mk1 Clio? I'm not particularly keen on the angel eye units but just after a factory looking smoked alternative???
