Coming from C Ford round roundabout and off to M3 northbound sliproad at top of Allbrook Way 8.20 this morn. Was in g/fs 205. Was a tough choice between Flame and Iceberg!

Hi, can anyone tell me where the chassis number is on a Mk 2 172? Is it stamped on the sill under the rubber seal where you open the drivers door or elsewhere? Also... am I right in thinking theres no VIN plate riveted under the bonnet, and its a tamperproof sticker on the inside of the drivers...
