Id say def the Clio. Ive gone from a Golf V6 4Motion to a 182 cup. Youll find the bigger car slower, thirstier and not as fun to drive. The CLR would feel much smoother but it def wouldnt be as quick. I know its got more bhp but the Clio is alot lighter.

To be honest mate its still only a clio not a porsche 911 turbo. Nothing to it.

Mine came with the badges although they are rubbish so i wouldnt worry about them.

I had a Golf V6 4Motion and i swapped it for a 182 cup. Golf is a brilliant car and well built but the 182 is much more fun to drive.

Of course 182s are more expensive, they are newer.

I was thinking of getting the Recaros but I wasnt that keen when I saw a picutre of them to be honest.

Nice to hear that. Im going from a Golf V6 4motion to a 182 cup. I pick it up next Monday. What is the main difference then to a standard 182 (performance wise)? I could of gone for a standard 182 but i didnt see the point. At the end of the day im not get 182 to be luxury, i want it to be a fun...

Id go for a Mk2 Golf GTI. I had one about 7 years ago and its still one of my favorite cars, and ive had a VR6 and a 4Motion since then. It still looks good aswell.

The clio has more hp per ton. The Golf does have alot of torque but is very heavy. Ill be sorry to see it go but looking forward to getting the 182, i pick it up monday week.

I am an owner of Golf V6 4motion and i have just ordered a 182 cup. Does anyone have any views on performance differences? I think the clio will cain the Golf on tight roads but im not so sure on straights.
