I am just trying to take a gearbox apart of a williams clio, and i cant get the gerbox to seperate from the clutch basket. i have undone all the 13mm bolts, & the selector underneath, the gearbox has split but only about 8mm and it wont go any further does anybody now why it wont seperate?

I drive a white 93 clio 16v with decat and pipercross filter, i recently had a race with a 172 along a very long straight road we went right upto 130 and then had to slow down. I later spoke to the guy and he said he couldnt loose me at all i was right on his arse. Shouldnt i off got thrashed?

An copper in an unmarked bmw doin 27mph is rediculous, i would of played hell and gone to court for a right before i got baned.

The unit in the roof is located directly behind the interior lights on the roof, blackyred coloured piece of plastic, just pull it out towards you. it usually comes out very easy.

thats sh*t mate, people who cant afford anything cos there to busy out smashing and robing everyones hard earned belongings. He needs a good f**king over! On the plus side i reckon that a decent bodyshop will be able to repair that without the need for a replacement quarter.

iv got a clio 16v and the central locking wont work iv replaced the key fob and unit in the roof, but still nothing. the button in the centre console works so its just the key and sensor thats not working. the battery in the key is new.

I have got a renault 19 that i am breaking and had thought of this idea but didn,t think it would fit. have you done this your self? so i now before starting as im going to le mans on wednesday need car to be right. thanks

Becuase the standard ones are always crap. ie the engine moves so much between gear changes that it bangs, iv replaced the bottom mount and the gearbox mount and still bangs.

yes it will fit but it is a tight fit make sure you take your seats out before you go.

Does anybody know if uprated engine mounts are availiable for the clio 16v and if so where can i get them from. thanks
