DO IT .........520 notes is justified by the attention you get in a vee if nothing else ! .....its an amazing car with s**t loads of character . Im on my second one !
Re: V6 255 in the nasty moondust primer colour
i will have to take some more pics , i only have a couple of the lunar grey one ... i have loads of my first silver vee !
i have a lunar grey v6 .... i think that is the rarest colour !.....get a v6 im on my second one , they are an amazing car to drive .....not to keen on driving it with the engine cover off ....to hot and far to many clunks for my likeing !
gaz ur right you dont have to thrash it to go fast ,you can rely on the torque, the power is very smooth , no 5k + power band it just pulls consistantly from very low down in the revs....
its already done a donut or 6 ! what a giggle , until the tyre smoke choked me !
im afraid you cant...
Thanks for your comments people ! i had a 172 cup then a 182 trophy now this , in terms of performance it is alot quicker the torque is unreal , altho in my opinon my trophy was more fun to drive hard and fast, the v6 as you all probably know can be a bit of a handfull especially in the wet!
nice one fubar good questions!, im picking my v6 up in five days , slighlty concerned about the turning circle now! its soo frustrating its at the dealership ready and waiting, but i got to wait for my cover note which wont be here till friday , when i will be flying to the dam !, so monday it is
nice 1 steve i was trying to find out how many there are , less than i thought!
nothing wrong with trophys in general ,its possibly the best handling car i have driven, but i had 172 cup for 3 years previous to it so i found myself getting bored very quickly, plus i have driven it quite hard...
I paid 3k to insure a 172 cup at 19 , had a 10k claim at 17 so they hit me hard ! went down to £1200 the following year , worth every penny , imo the cup comes to live in the wet ! smooth is the key and no stamping on the brakes ! dont even bother trying to drive in the snow cups are a nitemare
^^^^^^^^ well said , i wrote my brand new 106 quicksilver off a month after getting it when i was 17 , stoved it into a concrete fence showing off to my mates , lucky no one was hurt, but i learnt alot that day and touch wood i havent had a prang in 6 years.
