Basically stopped working half way through a day. thought it might be the battery even though the red light was still coming up on the key. changed the battery in the key but it still wont fecking work. any ideas boys and gals
just fitted some koni shocks to my 172 with a set of -40mm apex springs and the front end bangs as if something is bottoming out when i go over speed bumps etc. i have checked all the fitment etc and all apperars to be fine. they were difficult to get on however as longer than the coilovers...

i just checked they were all set at the same height and put the em. more than happy with how the car sits and looks but the hardness is starting to get on my tits? is it possible for me to adjust them to soften them up...
two on a salvage site. one x reg smashed on drivers side and one y plate with heavy front pasenger side corner damage. both in silver. x reg standard alloys but painted side stris and y reg just after market wings.

just got my 172 ph1 back from the local garage where its had its major service. had new cam belt kit aux belt, aux belt tensioner and idler bearing.
was wineing before and now all quiet. forgot how good they sound and how well it goes on the back roads.
great fun to have it back.

do i just undo the tensioner from the top. release it i mean then lift up the front end of the car and then get the bearing from underneath? what holds it on by the way?

bought a back box that came off a 172 cup a magnex one off here and its about half an inch wider diameter that the straight through pipe i bought for my ph1 172?
how come they went to a bigger bore but no hp gains or was there????
dont know wether to sleave it to make it fit as going to a wider...
right basically its going to be easier for me to buy a new set of 7x15s and a set 0f 8x15s and beak them into two sets. 8's on the back 7's on the front.
anyone itrested in the other set will be around 400 quid shod and ready to go.
