Sorry mate what I meant was I didn't agree with the colour as they are black aren't they? But you said you intended to get sprayed white so fair play.
The alloys look sweet too, I wouldn't paint 'em gold though. But whatever floats yer boat I guess
Sorry to hear about your problems mate, if it makes you feel any better I'm in the same boat, it's like as soon as I sort one thing out something else fails after a coupla weeks. Bought my car in May last year and I've only driven it for about 6 weeks an I'm not joking either.
Had that engine...
If you want my honest opinion mate, I think your car looks the b****cks mate on the outside, the only things I'd change on it are those rear lights. The wing mirrors and those strips.
I don't even think you need to lower it, cos there's fine line between making slight improvements to make it...
The accelerator pedal on my Valver is quite stiff as in not easy to press down.
Is this normal? I wouldn't know see as I've only ever driven one. I thought it was normal cos of it being an older hot hatch until my mate drove it who had a Peugeot 309 GTI remarked on it.
ha ha yeah what are afterburners? Twin exhausts maybe???
Think you need to get rid of those Lexus lights mate, cos even though you might not like the original ones, I still feel as soon as you see the Lexus lights at the back you just think what a shame.
What about some tinted rear lights to...
When I bought my car, it only came with one key....
The key has an immoboliser fob on it. I can get a key cut no probs, but if I lose the fob (i.e. it breaks off) then I'm basically fuct.
There are no papers to identify the immoboliser make, absolutely nothing.
What can I do to ensure...
Re: valver porblems
And why's that? If they're all built the same, unless you modify 'em they should all run roughly the same give or take a couple of mph, n'est ce pas?
It could just be the fan motor. I had the same problem last year with mine and everyone was telling me it was the head gasket, even the bloody mechanic at my garage said it. Then when I took it to another garage, they checked it out, fixed it and there was me grinning like a b*****d that I'd got...
Cheers guys for the help at my time of need it is well appreciated.
Told the garage today that it's gonna have to wait for a while now, they offered to tow it back home for me where it shall be sitting on my drive until next year when I can afford to sort it.
I'll pm J3ned then as those...
There's more to this.
Since I bought this car back in June every month there has been something major going wrong with it. I've spent £1500+ just to get it to where it is now. I haven't even started tidying the exterior up and I haven't even put a decent stereo in it, i.e. I still have a tape...
Car broke down on Sunday had to get it towed all the way home.
Initially thought it was the drive shaft.
Got a call off the garage today and they reckon it's the gearbox.
They quoted me £800! They justified this because they need to take the engine out.
Has anyone had this problem? It...
Does anyone know why my wipers don't glide over the windscreen even when it's raining? They're brand new too but it seems like there's friction and they're just kinda juddering as they move like when you turn 'em on when it's dry??
Uh? Take the leather off? That sounds a bit tricky though I never expected it to be easy. Hmmm this should be interesting. I'm relieved the fronts are a straight swap though.
I bought some black leather seats from an R19 to fit to my car as the old seats have had it.
Am just wondering how difficult it is to fit them. Does anyone know anyone who's done this? If so your help would be much appreciated. Cheers!
PS - There was a guide on how to do this on the old web...
