i think its going to be an 04 ctr for me.! clios have really come down in price recently, ctrs are still around 8k for a good car.

For all round experience, including power, reliability and handing and general wear and tear, a 182 cup or a civic type r.? Is the type r quicker than a 182... I dont want to be in a 182 and find the ctr is a better all rounder.!

Hmmm.. I do like the look of the anthracite. I think I might have to go with it.. Should I keep the outer rim of the wheel silver.? Jaz.

Has anyone had their standard 172 Mk1 wheels painted in the anthracite colour.? My wheels always get dirty, I think having them a darker colour to begin with will mask up the dirt and break dust build up.... Can you guys please post some pics up if you have done this mod.. Cheers Jaz.

My 172 is having its oil changed this weekend... Will any brand of fully synthetic 5W 40 be ok to put in...? Or shall I use semi synthetic...? Cheers.

I have just sold my Clio Maxim, I have taken out the rear speakers (6x9), side front speakers, the tweeters and the amp. I am getting the 172 on Friday, but can I put all this easily back into into the 172, or is it going to be an issue..? The 172 is a Mk1 car... Cheers. jaz.

Need some input from you guys...Iam looking to buy a front and rear strut brace for my Mk1 172. I have heard that these mods can improve the handling of the car by up to two thirds.. can anyone else share their experiences once having carried out the mod..? Also, whats a good brand to go for...

The 172 is silver and its my brothers... the 182 is mine.

Edde.. thats what Iam planning on doing.. :-) The car that I might by is also a Y reg 2001, but its got more miles on it @ 46k. The car will have all its belts changed inc cambelt.. do you guys think the tensioner bearing should be reaplced or will need replacing.? Jaz.
