Yea, Renault finance or (RCI) was the company auctioning the car, they had obviously reclaimed the car at some point and put it in auction. He sounded well cheesed off with whatever had happened, and said he wasn't the only one.

Spoke to the previous owner as well today due to a card i found in the car.. turned out it has hardly moved for the last year as it was the subject of some sort of dispute with Renault finance with them eventually taking it off him.. he did inform me that it had been used on a track though...

Well it turns out that a third alloy has a scuff in it as well... after driving round with them for 2 years and never curbing them its pretty upsetting. Dont know what to do.. its s**t

Did you take the parts off? Did they pay out for all of it?

They are 2 from the passenger side, both drivers side ones have chunks missing out of them from from when they hit the curb, i need to get them off and see if they are buckled, the tires should be alright though

More Than.. been impressed with them so far sorting me a hire car out, just need to decide what to do for the best regarding these alloys.

Hmm i better take them off then... I was driving along, and as i came past the pub, he just pulled out on me straight into the side of me, he was on the phone or something not concentrating, the police should have done him for dangerous driving i think really as there were several witnesses...

Well the model i declared had alloys as an option, 2 of them are pretty buckled with bits missing out of them. The tires are still pretty new as well. The cup spoiler is definatly coming off

How much are they ? the new wing mirrors have already cost me £60 from two different scrapyards but neither are the right colour so thats gonna cost me however much to get them sprayed :(

without tires i think your limiting your market, i would get in touch with bitsrus, he could get you a set of new trophy turinis with brand new exaltos for £550, and then sell all 5 of your old alloys with tires on ebay, you will get more that way and you have new tires. Thats what i did anyway!
