Just been told that the bits that allow you to adjust the dampers are seized, and that i should take it my car back to a renault garage for them to look at it. Anyone else heard of this - is it common?

I have a trophy and am in the York area, don't have a roof rack on mine though. Thought I saw another trophy at clifton moor roundabout on ring road, first time seen one locally.
