Just been told that the bits that allow you to adjust the dampers are seized, and that i should take it my car back to a renault garage for them to look at it. Anyone else heard of this - is it common?

It's very common. Every trophy has them.

They are pinned at the factory mate.

You can't adjust them unless you are brave enought to drill out the pins.

I know 7Mat came very close to doing it. LOL

We were standing with drill in one hand and extremely expensive damper in the other.

Couldn't do it though.

I wouldnt do it myself. I meant take it somewhere like 'A-Frame engineering' and get the pros to convert them.

i am on the look out for a company that will do it satch UK will not do them as my locale satch dealer has askted them for me

our boys have a fair amount of experience with Sachs suspension, this old barge has a few quids worth of Sachs bolted to it
