Think I see you driving around crown point and into town a few tmie a week. Normally got a couple of mates in the car and quite a loud stealth exhaust?
Yep, just a case of removing it and plugging up the slim rubber pipe that connects to it (I just put a screw in the end of the pipe). As above, when I did mine I noticed a little more induction noise and maybe rev'd a little more freely, but not a vast change.
Saw a nice modial blue 172 cup this morning, on the Boots Ind. Est.
Looked nice with black wheels, think i noticed a cliosport.net sticker as you went by. I was in the blue celica, you may have seen me mouth ooohhhhh cup.
One day, I'l have another..
It would sag massively in the middle unless it was adhesive and stuck to the roof.
If you mean the design is being printed onto normal vinyl wrap material applying vinyl is an absolute nightmare to the untrained hand even on the outside, can imagine doing the inside would be worse.

Thanks for the comments
I don't want a spoiler on it though, i am in the minority that like the spoiler-less look, and got a few more plans so not changing anything else until they're sorted.
Re: A little more stain black..
Yeah about -30mm, handles great and already have to be careful with the front in car parks and catch it occasionally so not getting slammed.
To fix the roof properly, is need a new roof skin which takes a lot of time / cash to fix, goin to leave it satin black, its pretty matt though in the fresh. The bonnet was considered, but i thought it was due to the fumes in the garage, maybe the wheels though...
Could have, but still looked crap when glossy, so needed it matt to hide whats left of the dents / ripples and i think it looks cool with the large front and rear windows, admittedly i havestrange taste..
Hello all.
Afer my previous thread a few weeks ago about my car getting vanadalised, the roof was left pretty knackered. Was going to claim through insurance but would all end up too costly, got better things to spend my money on,
Before:
So being bullish and impatient, my and my bro...
Sit it traffic too much for my old 172 cup and needed something ultra reliable for cummuting to uni everyday that wuoldn't need any money spending on it so bought this and added a few upgrades:
Thanks to some scum bag cnuts, its currently looking like this:
New roof, bonnet and scoop...
Hmm have to look into the insurance malarky, been told that even with protected NCB, a fault claim will still put it up a bit, will check it out though cheers :approve:
decisions, decision...
Well been to the insurance approved body shop,
New roof, bonnet repaired and painted, scoop repaired and repainted £1939
Problem is excess is £550, plus a claim will put my insuance up (even though got protected NCB) SO will end up costing me ~£800
Brother thinks I'd be better getting...
Thanks,
There seem to be a lot of low-life scum with nothing good in their shite lives, no job or prospects, so take it out on peoples possessions. Which when you don't have a huge income and spend a lot of it on a car, is annoying.
Come on karma sort them coonts out
Yeah pricks, getting it assessed and a quote later this week, hopefully,
Ain't going to be cheap whether i pay or claim on insurance (£550 excess) depends if the bodyshop can get all the dents out the roof making it perfect again, doubtful tbh...
Thanks again for feeding my need, sympathy and for help everyone.
Lol, I should tie the brick they threw at the car to their feet, (plus a few more) oh the irony...
Someone on a different forum suggested the metal may have been streched as well, not sounding too good, on the old repair front.
