    Yep, just a case of removing it and plugging up the slim rubber pipe that connects to it (I just put a screw in the end of the pipe). As above, when I did mine I noticed a little more induction noise and maybe rev'd a little more freely, but not a vast change.

    To fix the roof properly, is need a new roof skin which takes a lot of time / cash to fix, goin to leave it satin black, its pretty matt though in the fresh. The bonnet was considered, but i thought it was due to the fumes in the garage, maybe the wheels though...

    Could have, but still looked crap when glossy, so needed it matt to hide whats left of the dents / ripples and i think it looks cool with the large front and rear windows, admittedly i havestrange taste..

    Yeah Carbon Fibre is definately conductive, but I guess a thick clearcoat/lacquer may suffice.

    Well been to the insurance approved body shop, New roof, bonnet repaired and painted, scoop repaired and repainted £1939 :huh: Problem is excess is £550, plus a claim will put my insuance up (even though got protected NCB) SO will end up costing me ~£800 Brother thinks I'd be better getting...

    Cheers for the input, guess it will be an insurance claim, taking it to insurance approved bodyshop later this week/next week to check it out.

    Yeah pricks, getting it assessed and a quote later this week, hopefully, Ain't going to be cheap whether i pay or claim on insurance (£550 excess) depends if the bodyshop can get all the dents out the roof making it perfect again, doubtful tbh...

    Thanks again for feeding my need, sympathy and for help everyone. Lol, I should tie the brick they threw at the car to their feet, (plus a few more) oh the irony... Someone on a different forum suggested the metal may have been streched as well, not sounding too good, on the old repair front.
