Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
That's not what I read. An article pointed out that it was lighter than current model and significantly quicker on the 0-60 dash. However, with improved safety standards and EU regulations, I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up slightly heavier. Do we know yet...
Appreciate the comments guys. I thought this car DID stand out from the rest of the range lol. Visually, it is different. As standard, the ride height is lower than rest of the range. I also believe it has a slightly wider track from the rest of the range. The interior finish to these cars is...
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
Partially correct ;) I love it from all angles. Some darkened xenons on it and it will look sweet from the front. (Like your analogy though)
Blast from the past...resurrected an old thread. Recently changed my 2009 Bocanegra for a 2011 Bocanegra. This car continues to tick all the boxes for me. I have carried out a few modications on it...
As standard, this is the car when I collected it ...
It didn't take me too long long...
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
Am loving this car the more I see it. Really liking the colour schemes released, particularly the orange and blue. I could very well be tempted back to Renault Sport with the release of this little wagon. Remap and induction kit will easily get it to somewhere...
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
I like it. I think it is fresh looking. It is certainly a bit different looking. Would have liked to seen a set brembos behind the wheel. The DSG doesn't bother me. I currently am driving DSG and it is fine. However, I would have thought it manual should have...
Don't want to hi-jack this thread, so will mention no more about it after this ... covered 19000 miles now. Have probably bought and used about 6 litres of oil and two services in that time.
Turbo cars will use oil anyway ... I know I add about a lite of oil every couple of 1000 miles. Thankfully I haven't experienced too many issues with my tsi ... but I am very keen to see what Renault bring out next year. Looking forward to seeing their toy.
Not sure on exact cost, but I think they are expensive to produce. I think there is a concern for when these cars come out if warranty ... especially if mapped to dsg gear box ... that is apparently going to be extremely expensive to repair or replace if a fault develops. Apparently VAG have...
1.4 tsi is good and goes like stink. Very very quick off the mark for what it is. I know this engine been rolled out across VAG range and achieved engine of the year award etc ... however, it is not without its problems ... rumour has it, the 1.4 unit is being replaced in 2012 with 1.6 turbo...
Yip ... I know what you mean. You can still red line it in a turbo you know lol. As said, just depends what u r after ... I would have another rs clio no problem at all ... but there are alternatives. I enjoyed raking the sh*t out of my previous rs clios ... but I am currently enjoying the low...
Depends what you like .... having to rev the nuts of something to get going anywhere or ... from my own experience, having power / torque available virtually instantly and keep that going right up the power band. All I am saying is, don't be scared or apprehensive about going turbo'd route in...
I don't see what the problem is with boost compared to N / A ??? Boost is good fun. I hope the new clio is 1.6 turbo ... goes back to the old days e.g. Renault 5 turbo... but with a modern and more reliable twist on it. The 200 is the best in its class at what it does ... going round a track...
Didn't see very much entertaining about it tbh ... thought the trials they had to do where boring. Best thing about tonight show was the Aston's at the beginning and Ross Noble ... only my opinion of course.
I am nearly sure when I was ordering my BlackGold 182 in December 2004 that the colour list options included green - like a racing green IIRC. Maybe I am wrong. I don't remember seeing any 'green' 182s though.
Re: A Quick Shoot with some Mates (Meg 230, Evo 5, Ibiza Boc, Mini & Ph1 Content.....
Yip...as am I...really interested in Cat-Back. Also, Revo now have Stage 2 remap virtually ready. Awesome Gti are offering a cheap upgrade on the Revo for anyone who has Stage 1 ... your mate might well be...

Just an example of what can be done from stock! Interestingly, I was in the garage today getting new tires fitted...and while waiting, three people came...
Don't risk it...glad to hear you are going to sort it! My cambelt just 'went' on my Clio 1.2 many years ago...I had 68k on the clock and didn't even think to change the belt at the time. It was a costly repair. Various valves bent or broke that needed to be replaced. Engine rebuild cost just shy...
Used to own an r27 and drove the 200...couldn't tell any significant difference and couldn't understand the journalist hype about 20% lower down grunt in power. Sheer marketing if you ask me. Honestly couldn't see how the 200 had made this massive leap in comparison to the 197. Both great cars...
I believe that there is scientific evidence to suggest that females have poor spacial awareness than males, along with poor hand / eye coordination...hence it should come as no surprise that they are commonly labelled as being inferior drivers. My question then is why are insurance companies...
To be honest, if you love the RS Clio range, then obviously you are going to upgrade to the newer car over time...hence some people starting to look at the 200. However...hypothetically speaking, suppose the 197 / 200 were released at the same time and you had the choice of design...which would...
