I think you will be lucky to get more than £6,000 from the insurers. (probably more about £5250-£5500?) Start collecting as many "high end" for sale adverts as you can to provide as leverage when negotiating (stating belt services etc.), and obviously never accept first/second/whatever offer...

It had been repaired using a replacement (red) door and re sprayed, plus chassis damage. Was not registered as write-off on HPI. Used HPI and AA.

ECU bracket did same on mine (fitted ne one), and also the cam cover. So just removed it

Ring Northwest Performance or Birchdown for belts mate. NWP (Northwich) charge around £500 for both belts and full service on the 182.
