My 172 cup has failed its MOT on a rear break line and they are having a job finding a new one apparently it goes copper pipe-rubber hose-copper pipe Renault sent them a normal piece of pipe. Is it really that hard to find a rear break line for the clio.

I can't see it being the altinator as that is just a tool to charge the battery up and provide power when running etc. I'm under the impression the car would work without one for as long as the battery had some juice. It's got to be something to do with the starting system.

Defo not either of those as it works fine most of the time. And to mend it you get out lock it, unlock it and get back in. I've just read a post about wires from the ecu which I will look at shortly. It's not imboliser as the light inside dose not flash it's stays on to say it has picked up the key

I got mine from Camden Renault Northampton Late november i think it was. Only pic i have at the moment is 57 plate with cup pack and Recaros. Love it, but i do need the ECU update doing as it bounces down the road when cold.

It is the river Greta up in the lakes just under that bridge witht he nice wave/hole photo says 19th Jan 2008 which sounds about right. I didnt paddle it that day as it was a bit small so i took my camera for a walk most of the people in the shot our from our club.
