Not trying to blow my own trumpet James, but I think you'll struggle to find a 182 in that sort of condition with the miles tbh mate.
£6800 is far too strong. The MOT isn't a worry, but the cambelt service is a biggy as you know.
A mate just sent me this link James, sorry to hear about the accident dude :(
As long as you're ok, don't worry about the car, but it is sad to see her like that.
Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
Mine will definately be going now.
It'll be going in the classifieds as soon as it's been serviced on the 5th. Being MOT'd Friday.
Re: ***How much is my car worth?***
Ideas on mine please ;)
55 Plate RB 182 with CUP packs
23000 miles
FSH, all but one service done by Ren-Tech. (Cambelt/Aux belts booked for the 5th Nov) as well as bills.
6 mths tax
Will have a fresh MOT
4 PE2s fitted this year & done less than 3000 miles...
Looked at changing from mine, but I've had from 12mths old with 7800 miles on it.
It'll 5 years old this year & only just ticked over 22000. I'd struggle to get 6.5K for it & there is nothing to replace it with of the same age/performance/overall package. It's only cost me normal running costs...
I know Powerflow in Carshalton might be able to help you fab a bespoke effort mate.
Circa £400 when I asked them, but that included the cat mod to a wider diameter outlet.

Lol.....no no Tom, was just being nosey is all tbh mate. I wouldn't even attempt it.
A couple of good friends of mine have their cars tuned/mapped by MASE & just wondered what s'ware would be utilised for Renault mapping & whether he'd be able to map mine if I wanted him to is all.
I did a search guys & gals, but found nothing.
Just wondering what s'ware places like RSTuning use to remap the OEM ECU out of interest?
I know you can use the RSTuner from Henk, but what do the guys use for live maps on RRs etc?
Sorry if I did miss the info on my search. :o
A friend of mine had a modified MCS (Circa 200BHP) & I took him to test drive a GP.
He said there almost no difference in performance & could not justify the money over & above his MCS.

Pointless bit of trivia = The turbo decal on the front splitter was the wrong way round so people could read it correctly in their rear view. But BMW decided to delete it due to giving off the wrong impression.
Mine feels terrible too, as others have said there is a reason for it though.
The box feels worse than the engine imo.
I start it, allow it to idle for 30-60 seconds, give it a blip 2-3 times, then pull away. I refuse to take it over 3K & use very progressive throttle for the first 15-20 mins.
