Thats pretty reasonable. The 172 KW V1 kit is £515.00 +VAT. Going up to £770.00 +VAT for the KW V3 kit. You do get what you pay for as they say. ;)

Not too sure on the H&R stuff now as not sold any for a while, but the KW variant 1 for the 197 has an RRP of £553.00 +VAT. The FK kit must be similar i presume?

Its only really nuts & bolts and with the right tools, anything will come undone. ;)
Is everyone using FK now? as we are KW dealers and always thought of them been of very good quality and vaue for money. I used to sell alot of the H&R kits for these but just a tad on the expensive side for...
Im sorry to hear that you had this problem. We always use manufacturers tightening torques on all suspension bolts and fixings. Which car was yours so that i can look back on the job card to check the tightening torques used on your car. I will look into this and hope you will use us again with...
Hi Mike,
The better Coil-over companies can service just one unit or more. We
usually have to send the unit away to the manufacturers which normally
takes up to 4 weeks. But, we dont have any problems with unit like H&R because they use Bilstein inserts which are as everyone knows, one of the...
We dont im sorry. We are Superchips dealers and thats all we do because we dont run a rolling road here to set the mapping up.

Did they modify the front strut bolt holes to adjust the camber or did they
fit camber adjusting bolts?

I guessed that you user I.D. was your surname backwards and did a
search on our system. I can remember it coming in though. Sad hey! I
can never remember anything important though!:clown:
I will make some calls on the H&R kit and let you know what i can do.
Dave Roberts...
Oh yeah! We fitted a GMAX kit to the Zetec S didnt we. Thanks for the
thumbs up for the work we did.
Which coil-over kit are you looking to go for then? If you tell me what your looking for and how much you can get them for, then i can see what i can do as a package for you fitted and set-up...
Yes we can set all this up for you. Is the kit fitted already and does this
kit make the camber adjustable do you know?

Do you know what they adjusted exactly? I presume you had a lot of
modified suspension parts fitted to adjust all this?

I presume that this was for a Subaru Impreza? We do a fast road set-up
on these cars adjusting front & rear wheel alignment and the front & rear
camber to optimum settings for fast road / track day use. Total price for
this work is £135.00 inc VAT and it takes 3 hours to set everything...
Our charge to set the front wheel alignment is £29.50 inc VAT. We have
the equipment to set all geometry including camber and castor and also
corner weights. The Clio is only adjustable on the front alignment as stan-
dard unless the car has camber adjusters fitted.

I know what you mean about the price of coil-overs.
They are the best for getting the heights right and the handling is amazing
The only problem is the price like you say.
The APEX springs do look good on them dont they.

01270...
I suppose the only other option to get the height right on the front is a
set of coil-overs. The only problem then is getting the rear right with the
right set of springs.
I have just started to supply H&R coilovers which lower the front 30-70mm
and the rear is on an adjustable platform...
Yeah they sit lower at the front standard dont they so the back does
need to come down a little bit more than the front to level the car.
With the understeer you can get round alot of that by introducing a little
bit more negative camber with a set of camber adjusters.
Sadly the rear is not...
The Pi rears looked fantastic and brought the arch down to the tyre.
I had a set on one I had for couple of months but i had a set of custom
springs made for the front to get the right height.
Sadly the guy who made my springs has gone out of business now so cant
get any more made.:(...
We fitted eibach pro-kit which should have been -30mm. The front came
down nice but the back looked fairly standard and when your lowering the
car, you want it to look lower dont you.
The Pi springs that we fitted were a set that we used to have made for the 172 which brought them down -60m...
Hi everyone,
Do you mind me asking which springs your fitting to the 182 cups as we have tried
eibachs on them and they just dont come down atall.
Then we tried Pi 60mm lowering springs and you couldnt turn the wheel on the front
because it was hard up to the arch.
Thanks,
Dave Roberts...
