mine reads bout 3.5 bar on motorway but on tickover like half a bar is that right???

just wandering out of curiosity what my clio 1.8 16v oil pressure should be between on tick over and at top end revs. thanks also does anyone know how much the crankshaft oil seal will cost to get fixed think its leaking.........

no longer got a van just a clio 1.8 16v starting to regret the swap as it owes me nearly 4 grand bloody car :(

cheers for replying when i switched the car off it was tapping its tits off so i know that there wasnt any oil getting around the engine, now i have taken the pump off and it seams fine and the worm gear to it seems to be working fine but how do i know if the pump is good or bad as turning it by...

I was driving my valver last week and made a funny noise when pulled away. then oil pressure light came on and the guage was reading nothing. i thought this was my oil pump so have taken engine out but oil pump seems to be working but how do i know for sure? could anything else of caused this to...

i was driving my valver earlier today and seems to be that the oil pump has gone does anyone know how long it takes to change plus how do i know if the chain has snapped or not any help will be great thanx..

just wanted to say cheers to everyone at thae airfield had a great laugh decided on gettin a valver after christmas then keep the van as a track car with a new lump dropped in it!!!

quaiff have put a 172 diff on the market taht may help
