Thanks for all the help over the last 8 years!

A big thanks to cliosport for being there for me with guides and advice. I have never really been the posting type but I thought you all deserved a thank you. I am now leaving the Renault world and have bought a Leon Cupra Mk2. I have got to say its a great car. That said, I have many great...

sticking revs + slow to come down???????????

I've just encountered the same problem. In my situation I disconnected the battery, had a brew and reconnected. All good again. Happy days. Just done a long run without any repeat offences.

    some tw*t stole my bullets

All to common it appears. I had mine stolen in Derby. Left me with a small dent in the door too as a lasting memory!

    182 ABS reluctor ring sizes

Reluctorrings.com made me a front reluctor ring for my 182. I required the 15mm wide one which I could not readily find elsewhere. The thinner ones 6-7mm are more readily available from scrapyards etc as they are the same as the rear abs rings which are fitted to the brake discs.

Broken ABS Ring (Reluctor ring) solution for Clio 182 driveshaft

I just had a look at a 172 Ph2 and this appears to have the same ABS sensor yet the reluctor ring is the thin 6-7mm wide type. I wonder why they changed it to be 15mm wide on the 182? As the thin 6-7mm wide ring is readily available and cheap ~£15 it would be tempting to try one on my 182...

Broken ABS Ring (Reluctor ring) solution for Clio 182 driveshaft

They produced mine at a discount as it was the first one of this type they had done. They knocked off the equivalent of VAT and delivery costs. They charged me £35. Contact reluctorrings.com to get an accurate price.

Broken ABS Ring (Reluctor ring) solution for Clio 182 driveshaft

ABS ring cracked recently due to excessive corrosion. (Car is 4 years old 28k miles) This was indicated by tapping on the brake pedal during deceleration. Probably due to the ABS being activated when the sensor got confused as it passed the gap caused by the crack in the ring. Initially...

    182 exhaust mounts.

I also recommend the CES sourced mounts. Fitted two a couple of weeks ago. Exhaust sits well for the moment. It's just a shame the parts were not designed adequately in the first instance.

Life of a standard 182 exhaust??

27K for me at 4 years. Rusted through at the connection between the tail pipes and the back boxes. Exhaust mounts were knackered too.

400 quid for a lambda sensor?!

I had the O2 sensor directly infront of the CAT replaced under warranty from the stealers last week. The part went on back order for a week but otherwise no problems. (If this is the same sensor it looked easy to fit, so 400 quid is well OTT.) Can the stealers prove that dirty fuel has...
