Haha, just got in my car to go to work, wouldnt start so i got the breakdown guy out, popped the bonnet, he sat in the car, tried turning it over a few times then got out and said' "yeah mate, we do have a lot of trouble with diesels this time of year" WTF?!?! Didnt exactly fill me with confidence! maybe the reason it wont start is that ive been putting petrol in it for the last year;)
Anyhow, fair to say, he didnt get it started, so its off to the garage tomorrow. gutted.:dapprove:

Should have joined AA or RACthey know they're stuff tbh.
got the cover included in my insurance so it was just easier, anyway i was with AA before, been paying my 14 quid a month for the last few years without even using them. then one day someone had let all my tyres down when i left the car outside a mates house overnight, called them up and they wouldnt come out to inflate my tyres, after all the cash they had had from me, really pis**d me off!!

If its electrical, an electrician is a good place to start.

Its a car... auto electricians specialise in car electrics... so yeah, you need an auto electrician ;)

Am I right in suggesting to check the TDC sensor. Do a little search on TDC sensor as I am sure someone has suggested it could be this with other people's starting problems :)

  172 Race Car
Take it out give it a clean. If you are handy with a spanner. Quite common fault on Renaults. RAC fix loads like that ;)

RAC are fabulous, highly rec them, i have a membership through my barclays account.

when i wrote my car off they even offered free legal advice and everything if any trouble came from it in a followup courtesy call. cant fault them, used them about three times always get to you within the hour

Yep the RAC piss all over the AA and others. AA are the worst recovery group i have been with out of all i have beeen with. couldn't even diagnose a flat battery ffs.

RAC come out alot quicker and know what they are on about.

transported me all the way from Wales to Midlands last year! took 9 hours to get home! 3 transport trucks, 3 drivers! lol

all because my damn supercharger decided to seize after a hard day at Llandow circuit!!! perfect all day, 5mins from the track, dead!!! lol
