Im fairly sure the only difference between the 24k and 36k is the aux belt - which you should really get done now - go for the 36k

i had the same thing happen once on my 172 - light came on as i was driving carefully :evil: along the A19 and stayed on til i stopped. Once i switched the engine off and back on it went out and hasn't been back on since! That was about 2 month ago - so hopefully just another renault quirk lol

check ur brake fluid level - if it slightly low when you go uphill / round corners the fluid can shift in the resevoir at the side where the sensor is and flash the light on for a second

Thanks - that makes sense now - when i pulled up at work and turned off the engine the wipers were half way across screen so iturned ignition back on to let them finsih then back off again. I really should get round to reading the manual someday :o
