I recently purchased a Phase 1 172 and drove it over 300 miles back home to Scotland and achieved 49mpg. Sat at 70-75mph all the way.

I'm not going to touch it now but just want to make sure everyone is aware of it. Some people don't bother to do relevant checks when buying so he might get away with it.

Come to think of it the actual bolster is worn so replacing the base wouldn't solve this. Unless I get the actual material im not sure what I can do....

Do you know how much a seat base would cost from Renault? That might be the easier option. It's out of warranty.

Bought the Trophy today and loving it. Reminds me of my 1.9 205 gti which was a great drivers car. Think im gonna leave it standard but might add the leather rear seat bench from the FF 182's.

Im going to look at a Trophy tomorrow. Its only done 18,000 miles and is still on the original discs & pads. How long do these generally last or will I be looking to change them soon? Also wheres the best place to get 2 new Exalto's on the front? Last of all how much is a 24,000 miles service...

Im having a similar problem. After 40mph the steering wheel starts to wobble. I am taking it to a garage on saturday but any feedback prior would be helpful.

I find I have to leave my Air-Con on all of the time. As soon as I turn it off the car steams up. Is anyone else having this problem and is there a way round it cos its not helping the MPG. I had a PH2 V6 and it did the same thing :S

Thanks guys. I seen discs & pads advertised on e-bay and it said pad sensors included which made me wonder. I have searched e-bay for the mats but looks like I may have to go to Renault. Im not paying daft prices for them though so might just do without

Just got myself a Clio 182 Cup and just got a few questions so hope you can help. Is there sensors on the brake pads to say they are worn? Are they easy to replace? I would also like some genuine Renault 182 mats. Where is the best place to get these and how much do they cost? Thanks Grant
