friend of mine recently upgraded from 172 to 182 and she swears blind that the 172 was quicker.. personally i can't see how there's anything in it. but i agree with mrbillyuks comment that they were only made as a marketing exercise!!
if the car has a warranty (or whatever the stealer decides to call it) don't diagnose it yourself just give them a bell, tell them the symptoms and that you want it fixed! that said it does sound very much like a head gasket...
in honesty on a track i would say that AX would beat a cup nine times out of ten (drivers not withstanding)... the cage is gonna help the handing shed loads, for that money i don't think you can go wrong!
tunbridge wells, but i work in sevenoaks (at BT for all my sins!)... i'll keep a look out for some cliosport stickers during the commute!
ollie... :rasp:
ollie i truly am touched by the warmth that you've shown.. so much so i have added you to my christmas card list :D
sash... add me to the south east massive... although i don't have a clio, i'll come along so you can poke fun at me driving a saxo though, all in a good cause!
depends on a few things mate, i the corners the clio FTW everytime (in my opinion) but the weight of the corsa will help it on the straights... my 250bhp Leon cupra R struggles against a mates C20XE corsa up to the high end of 3rd gear, after that i pull away but he does have the uber short F16...
yes mate sorry, by SSC i was referring to the saxo sport club, the place that took my forum cherry... maybe a bit too much information... ah well i'm an open kinda guy!
and hi sarah, sorry, was in a rush yesterday, more work on 'that' 182
hello peeps (and ollie.). unfortunatley i'm not a big black man... quite the opposite in fact... there's no irony in my nickname!!
anyways, cheers for the warm welcomes!

Hi guys, i have to admit to not being a Clio owner BUT i do spend a lot of time working on my friends 182 and your forum has been very helpful!! so i thought i'd say hi after browsing for so long!
sorry to bring back a slightly old thread but if someone could forward the bumper removal guide to me i'd be eternally grateful!!
