I dream and long for a v6 but:( can't afford one and it's impractical for me but how i long for one.. now i was thinking (well and partly someone suggesting) that i buy a kit to make my 172 look like a v6!! my ears pricked up and i was seriously listening, can you get a kit to make a 172 look...

I have also found that other 172 drivers always get right up your a**e just to see if thier 172 can beat yours??? I think it's totally pathetic as for the v6 I c*me in my panties everytime I see one of those so if I see yours you will know what I have just done ha!ha! I would love one toobut...

Thanks for all the opinions, sorry mate can't cut the springs i would have to buy lowering springs my young son travels in the car with me sounds a bit dangerous does that anyway, i will lower her about 35 to 40 mm and i think i will keep the 16's on and leave them silver, just need refurbishing...

I can't believe an alternator costs £300 surely that mist be labour on top of that?? If so do it yourself hun get a nearly new alternator and do it yourself I know I would certainly have a go... Hope you get it all sorted though,.

actually had a quote from rochford tyres they say about 50 a wheel but don't know if that is with the tyres on or off? but that works out at 200 for all four does this sound reasonable or can they be done cheaper?

anyone know of any cheap wheel refurbishers in the southend and surrounding areas?? not had my 172 long but previous ownner must have drove along the kurb to drive straight in a terrible mess, on a budget as everyone is but being a single mum i am on a tighter budget lol thanks..
