Hi guys been having an issue with the car having a stutter and the other day it actually threw a code for the dephaser solenoid. I've already cleaned it and checked the resistance and it's all fine. The time it threw this code it misfired on cyl 1 as well... Code this be the dephaser?

Had and error show whilst crawling in n traffic yesterday... Misfire cylinder 1, and Camshaft it vvti controller open circuit. I've tested the solenoid already and the resistance is good... No idea what's going on...

How much would map be? I don't mind travelling

Not sure, I only get it on part throttle, even on full throttle the car doesn't feel quick. I was thinking maybe dephaser? can't hear a rattle on cold start though.

Really? It feels like a massive jerk, like the knock sensor is cutting power, or your on and off the clutch....

So I cured the misfire, needed oem plugs. But I still have a that jerk around 2500 to 3000rpm. I've swapped coils, plugs, most sensors, cleaned the throttle body and no joy! It has a miltek cat back. Once threw a knock sensor fault and I replaced that and torqued it down and the car ran smooth...

I spoke too soon! Fault is back after 2 days!

Did you find the fault? I'm experiencing the exact same symptoms as you, car holding back etc...

Update.... It was the knock sensor completely corroded... Replaced and all fixed!

I think the codes are in reference to knock sensors mate.

Hey guys, been having an issue with my car jerking and a misfire. Thinking I have sorted the misfire with fitting the correct Ngk plugs. But I have these faults still. And the car doesn't want to rev properly and feels jerky... Accelerometer electrical circuit dct0325bf Accelerometer...

Update pulled the week old plugs out and they are all wet with fuel... I say fuel because it looks like its evaporating...

I hope it's something simple like that and not a burnt valve

Yeah I'm going to unplug the o2 and see what happens. Just thinking worst case with the engine. The gearbox synco crunches on 3rd at high rpm. Still engages though. What kind of prices are we talking for rebuilding either? And where abouts are you buddy? Steve

i've seen this lady to, a few times. mainly near where i live in great horkesley on the northen approach road.
